Issuing the ticket: Once payment is received, the travel agent will issue the ticket. In the case of a flight, the agent will issue an electronic ticket (e-ticket), which is stored in the airline’s reservation system. Airline reservation systems: Airline reservation systems are used by travel agencies to search for availability and make reservations on behalf of customers. The main airline reservation systems are Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport.
